Five Things Friday Part 3 –

The sun is shining, the air is warm, and it’s finally Friday! I’m ready for another jam-packed weekend as soon as the work day is over. The weekend plans include dinner with Jeff at the LuckyMonk and a movie tonight, my friend Lisa’s bachelorette party on Saturday , and spending some time with  my new little nephew and his momma on Sunday.

I hope everyone gets the opportunity to enjoy the great weather and a fun weekend!

Five Things Friday!

  • Girlfriends

Perhaps I am just a little biased, but I have some of the greatest girlfriends in the entire world, nay, the UNIVERSE! It’s always a good day when I get to spend time with these ladies whether its for wine nights, parties, dinners, or just hanging out at someones house. Our group is extremely fortunate to all live within driving distance of each other (some of us are even in the same apartment complex). This weekend we are celebrating Lisa’s bachelorette party and I cannot wait for the hilarity and shenanigans to ensue.

  • Game of Thrones

I absolutely love Game of Thrones  and look forward to 8 p.m. on  Sunday nights when I can just completely immerse myself in this epic medieval fantasy story. Having read the George R.R. Martin series A Song of Fire and Ice, I have been enthralled with the plot line since I read the first prologue in Game of Thrones . Sorcery, jousting, kings, queens, corruption? Doesn’t get much better than that! Watching the story come to life lures me even further into the world of Westeros.

  • Sandals

Hallelujah!! This winter was an extremely rough six months for the mid west, but it looks like the warm weather is finally upon us! This means I can put away all of my dumb boots, closed toe shoes, socks and show off my pedicures! It seems as though Target always has the most cutest (and most affordable) sandals. How cute are these Sam and Libby Karina metallic sandals? And these teal Mossimo braided sandals.

  • Maxi Dresses

Maxi dresses are my favorite things to wear in the warmer months. They are so versatile and can be dressed up or dressed down depending on your preference. If I wear one to work I will usually pair it with a cute cardigan or short jean jacket with cute flats. If I’m out running errands or brunching, I’ll usually pair it with some cute sandals like those Sam and Libby Karina ones! OldNavy  is usually my go to place for maxi dresses, but I’ve also found really cute ones at the Gap and Forever21.

  • Sisters

Last but not least on this 3rd edition of Five Things Friday is sister time. Since moving to Indiana a few months ago I haven’t seen my sister, Jenni. We talk almost everyday but it is not the same as being able to drive 15 minutes to her place or my place. Her birthday is next week so I’m planning a trip to Indy to visit her and her fiance and I couldn’t be more excited. Being able to spend quality time together is something that neither one of us will take for granted anymore.
