3 POSITIVES IN 5 DAYS – DAY 2

Today is Day 2 of being positive and I can already feel a change in the way I approach each day.  It is so easy to get stuck on the negative things in life but if you just take a step back to think, breathe, and look around, you are able to see all of the little things that make life so great.

 

FIVE DAYS OF BEING POSITIVE – DAY 2

1. Midday Walks- Sometimes being in an 8-5 work office environment is tough.  By 2PM, I’m feeling tired, unmotivated, and sometimes crabby. I try to get outside and go walk around our office park. We are surrounded by beautiful trees, ponds, and flowers and taking these walks feels so refreshing and rejuvenating. Even if it’s only a 10-15 minute walk just being outside can improve my mood and snap me out of the 2PM midday slump that I’m sure everyone has experienced before.

2.  Going back to school- Even though going back to school was a rough transition, I know it’s going to pay off in the long run. I have proven to myself that if I set my mind to something, I can accomplish anything.

 

3.  Cuddly kittens – My oldest cat Willy always has to be on top of us when we are at sitting around at home. It seems he is happiest on a lap, on our heads, or  just laying by our side and that makes me happy because he just seems so content– as if it is the only place he ever wants to be.
