Daily Eats 08/06/2014

Today was a busy day in terms of work so it was nice when my friend Meghan and I got to relax and get pedicures. Vegas is next week so my toes needed to get ready for vacation! I choose a fun summery minty green color.

Breakfast

I had my usual banana, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Quest Bar, and my Starbucks. I feel as though I need to switch up my breakfast routine. If I’m being honest, I’m kind of getting sick of Quest Bars. I love them, don’t get me wrong, but I need a little breakfast excitement in my life. There will always be room in my life for Starbucks though!

Lunch

My boss and I took our new employee (and the one that is leaving) out to lunch as a Welcome and Farewell sort of thing. I didn’t take a picture, but I had a Greek Salad with grilled chicken, kalamata olives, feta cheese, cucumbers and tomato. It came with a side of pita bread also. I’m not exactly sure what the points break down was, but if I had to guess I would say the salad was around 8 points, with the pita it would be around 10 points.

Dinner

Dinner was quick since I got home a little after 7pm again so I threw together a chef salad with ham, turkey, tomato, cucumber, parmesan cheese, romaine, and some croutons. I also had 2tbs of Newman’s Own Lite Caesar dressing. It was a redo from my lunch salad the other day and it was pretty darn tasty and filling. After dinner I also had a bowl of mixed fruit but I forgot to take a picture of it.
