HAPPY FRIDAY! And Happy First Day Of Spring! Waking up this morning knowing that it is Friday instantly lifted my mood since this week wasn’t exactly the greatest. I’m really looking forward to spending the weekend with friends and family. My sister and her fiance will be coming into town later tonight for my nephews first birthday party tomorrow. I haven’t seen my sister since Christmas so it will be nice to spend some quality time with them and catch up. I’m going to take them both to a BodyShred class at my gym tomorrow morning which should be a fun, sweaty time!

As for tonight, we have a going away party for a couple friends that are leaving us for Arizona. I couldn’t be happier for them and this new adventure they are embarking on, but at the same time I am sad to see them leave. The upside to them leaving is that we now have an excuse to visit Arizona! Good luck Dan and Lisa! We sure will miss you guys!

Moving right along with my Friday Faves…

  • I feel as though this first one is most definitely a given since we are celebrating him this weekend. My nephew Elijah! I feel like I blinked and now all of a sudden he is turning one. Elijah is the sweetest, happiest, most smiley baby on the planet. Happy Birthday little man!

Chicago mix popcorn is my JAM! It is a delicious mix of salty, sweet, and cheesy goodness that I just cannot seem to stop eating. My absolute favorite is the Chicago mix from Garrett, but because they are only located in the city and online, it’s not as easy to purchase. Imagine my sheer delight when finding this equally delicious substitute at my local Trader Joe’s.  I will say that it is less greasy than the regular Garrett Chicago mix, but it definitely does not lack in taste and will probably still stain your fingers that delicious cheesy orange color. If you are as big of a fan as Chicago popcorn mix as I am, I would definitely recommend it!

I have been listening to Sia’s new album nonstop for the past month. Sia is unique, unconventional, and in my opinon severely underrated for her unrelenting talent. This is her 6th album and it is by far one of my favorites. Every song on this album is haunting, unique, fun, and entrancing.
